Recently visited the Kanadukathan Chettinadu Palace and Attangudi or Athangudi Chettinadu palace nearby Karaikudi in Sivaganga District. The majestic mind-blowing architecture of these Chettinad Palaces is a classic example of indigenous Chettinad architecture.
The Palaces are built with high-quality Italian marble, Burma teak, stained glass, and a fusion of color and ornate wrought iron, woodworks with handmade Athangudi tiles which is also globally famous for its myriad of colors and geometric patterns.
