The SPLASH 2023 is a nationwide art festival centred around the theme KalaaHarJagah, promoting the idea of bringing art to the general public in innovative and experiential ways. This 6th edition of Splash art festival and this year has expanded its reach to Chennai, Jaipur, and Mumbai. It is an initiative by The Art Hub to Celebrate the Freedom of Expression through art.

This year’s SPLASH 2023 Chennai edition was hosted at the C.P. Art Centre with more than 45 artists starting the day with inaugurated by Shri. Lakshmi Krishnamurthy, a gifted alumnus of Kalakshretra Foundation. At this SPLASH art expo, we found an affordable range of artworks to decorate our homes and invest in unique pieces. We had the opportunity to purchase paintings and connect with local artists in the city.

At this SPLASH art festival, the curated selection of pieces reflected a diverse range of styles, mediums, and perspectives, embodying the essence of contemporary expression. From abstract paintings to mixed-media installations, every corner of the gallery exudes an atmosphere of creativity and intellectual curiosity. This fusion of old and new creates a dialogue between different eras, challenging preconceived notions about the evolution of art.
