The Mami Tiffin Stall, famously called the Mami Mess is home-style meals served at affordable prices throughout the day. It is one of the famous and oldest eateries in Mylapore started in 1959. The Mami Mess is currently run by Kapaleeswaran and Balasubramaniam carrying their mother’s traditional tasty food recipes.
The Mami mess is moved to a restaurant recently from kaiyendhi bhavan, a self-service standing table stall type well known by the locality for their special food item Kollu kattai in both sweet and savory flavors. Their menu includes all the famous vegetarian south Indian food items. Mami Tiffin Stall serves only vegetarian lip-smacking eateries. They are famous for their tasty lip-smacking Bondas to Masala Dosas and Podi Dosas. 
Their filter coffee, Bondas, Thavala vadai are are the most favourite among it’s customers. Mami Tiffin Stall Mami Mess famous menu include a savoury Kozhukkatai, Mysore Pak and sweet Rava Kesari. The restaurant serves a lunch – called the full meals and pre-mixed Sambar rice, Curd rice, Keerai rice Satham.
