Mylapore Ganapathy’s Butter & Ghee shop is more than seven decades old shop, started by Ganapathy Pillai in 1942 and now the shop is run continues by his grandson. If you want ghee’s which have a high rich aroma, then Ganapathy’s Butter & Ghee is a place for us. Their butter is sourced directly from a place called the Uthukuli which is a famous place in Tamil Nadu for its best quality of milk, butter, and ghee products. The ghee is traditionally hand-churned and simmered into pure Cow Ghee and buffalo ghee (Clarified Butter) at their own production unit. The ghee is not packed in the container and is freshly sold as per the customer’s needed quantities.
Currently, they also sell traditional hand-made quality products like podi, rice mixes, Vathal, Vadam, Maavadu – Spicy pickles, appalam, thokkus made from different pulses, and chekku oils. They are best place to get all the dairy products especially Pure Buffalo ghee and Cow ghee available at this place.
