Recently visited The Madras Crocodile Bank Trust and Centre for Herpetology a reptile zoo and herpetology research station, located 40 km from the Chennai. It is one of the largest Crocodile Bank in Asia to promote the conservation of reptiles and amphibians and their habitats through education, scientific research and captive breeding.

How to Reach The Madras Crocodile Bank Trust and Centre for Herpetology:
On Road: Cab – You can easily take a cab from the airport to the Crocodile Bank. The distance is about 40 km and it takes about an hour and half to get there. The fare for the trip would be roughly INR 1000.
Bus – From T.Nagar, catch bus 599. It will get you to Crocodile Bank in about an hour for a charge of INR 50.
Nearest Railway Station: Chennai Central (Station Code MAS) and Chennai Egmore Railway station ( Station Code MS).
Nearest Airport: Chennai International Airport (Code MAA).
